We Go Together!

All of you guys rocked Grease today. The lower graders really sounded great practicing Grease. You guys are learning all the words and doing great following along. Now that the music is marked the hardest part is over. Now we get to learn music and dance and how a production comes together! I was blown away when we came out of the music room and saw all the upper graders learned in such a short time. We go together looked great! Love, Mrs. Lyons

All I can say is WOW! What a group of talented kids! My hat's off to all of you! I am so excited to start getting you all into costumes! We have a pretty good start on gathering things so far, (thanks to Frenchie and Link's mom!) but we need your help too! So start rounding up those poodle skirts, scarfs, bobby socks and leather jackets! I'll have more details coming home on Thursday with your parents. Important information from Stacey

Again, I too would like to Congratulate everybody on an amazing job. Call backs went great. Everyone was so supportive of one another. Please continue to show your respect and support for your fellow classmates and Ms. Bonnie throughout the rehearsals by following directions and listening to instructions. I would like to take the opportunity to inform everyone on what to expect tomorrow (Tue. Jan 21st) at our first rehearsal. Every student in the production will receive a copy of the musical on CD. A pack of paperwork will also be sent home which includes the Commitment Form, that should be signed by a yourself, a parent and your teacher. Second, a contribution letter explaining the cost for each student and where the money goes. Third, a cast roster form and release form so your picture can be taken and used in the program and on this website. And finally, a reminder letter of this weeks parent metting on Thurs. Jan. 24th at 6:30pm in the MPR. Please return each form as soon as possible. Please DO NOT send a check without having your teachers signature on the Commitment Form. Congratulations to EVERYBODY!!!!You all did an amazing job and I am so proud of each and every one of you. There is so much talent at Woodbury. Wow how excited we all are!! We are so lucky to have such a big group of GREAT TALENT!!!! Girls that were at the call backs, when you started to sing together as a group you brought us to tears!! I also agree with Susan!!! I too was very proud of you girls and all the support you showed each other. Keep that up and it will just make YOUR show that much better!!!! Welcome to the Woodbury Musical blog. We will be posting announcements, schedules, and photos so please be sure to bookmark us and check back regularly.

The musical will be a medley of music from Hairspray, Grease, and Bye Bye Birdie.

Auditions for uppergraders are Wednesday from 1:30-4 and for lower graders on Thursday from 2:30-4:30. Please come prepared to sing for 30 seconds to 1 minute.

If your child is chosen for the musical rehersals will start Tuesday the 22nd immediately after school.
